Miriam Eme @miriam_eme_photography from Spain is an artist driven by the macabre and horror. We absolutely love her whole aesthetic. The beautifully detailed work of art that she submitted was something we couldn't ignore. Miriam used several SFX products including Synwax, Liquid Latex and Squirt Blood. She used the combo of Synwax and Latex to create the grotesque facial wounds and missing eye and topped it all off with dabs of Bright Arterial Squirt Blood. The bright red blood against the dark clothing and overall dim lighting in the photograph make for such a beautiful pairing, you can't help but be drawn to it. Another aspect of this work we love is that the look is open to interpretation. Where Miriam was inspired by a childhood urban legend, we see that this character could have many versions of how it came to be. What's better than a good mystery character?
