31 Days of Halloween - Oct. 28

Emily Jordan Beck @emmyb_sfx hails from Woodland Park, CO and calls herself the SFX makeup beast and we can see why!! Emily is quite skilled at manipulating waxes, gelatins and blood into creepy, gore filled special effects looks. The look she submitted grabbed us immediately with the incredible detail of the wounds and the expert blending of the wax edges into her skin. She used our Synwax and a lot of it! She even covered up one entire eye, talk about dedication! That couldn't be easy detailing the rest of your face only being able to see out of the other eye. To top off her wounds and make them even more realistic she used Stage Blood. Her inspiration behind the look came from her love of horror movies and how she wanted to create her own slasher type serial killer that she dubbed The Inflictor!! We are so in love with this creativity and skill. What's Halloween without some slasher gore?!
