31 Days of Mehron Halloween Week 5 Finalists

Our favorite season is coming to an end, but the fun isn’t over yet! Our 31 Days of Mehron Halloween Contest is officially closed and we have 31 extremely talented finalists to choose from. We want to thank everyone who entered their Halloween looks, with over eleven-thousand submissions it wasn’t easy to narrow it down!

Check out the last group of finalists before we announce our 2019 Grand Champion on Friday November 8th!

“Evil Rabbit”

Raquel is a professional makeup artist from Costa Rica. Her work ranges from glamourous bejeweled sugar skulls to horrifying and nightmarish creatures. Our favorite look of hers from this Halloween season is her terrifying “Evil Rabbit”. She used Paradise Makeup AQ™ in black to create shading and details for this creepy costume makeup.

 “Billy - Stranger Things”

Crystal is a self-taught makeup artist from Indiana and a master of disguise! Age, gender, and battle wounds seem to be no problem for Crystal, her insane highlighting and contouring skills can turn her into any pop culture icon you can imagine.  This recreation of Billy from Stranger Things blew us away! For this illusion makeup she used a mix of Paradise Makeup AQ™, StarBlend™ Cake Makeup, and our CreamBlend™ Stick.

 “Nemesis”

Sofia is makeup artist from Hamburg Germany. Her gothic inspired beauty looks are absolutely stunning, but what really impressed us is her Halloween makeup. Her creepy cosplays throughout the month of October covered all of our favorite characters. This look inspired by Resident Evil really caught our eye! This character is from Resident Evil 3: Nemesis and inspired Sofia because of its “creepy and particular” look.

“Watercolor Skull”

Claudia is an international makeup artist based out of Bangkok Thailand. She is a true artist that does it all including hair, beauty makeup, SFX, and body painting! We fell in love with this Watercolor Skull she created using our Paradise Makeup AQ™. The juxtaposition of the beautiful blues layered on top of each other to create a soft texture and the sharp black lines and cockroach to show death and decay is horrifyingly stunning.

“Ice Queen”

Camila is an artist and influencer from Guayaquil Ecuador.  Her makeup looks range from beauty to FX and are always nothing short of amazing. This “Ice Queen” look has us ready for the holiday season! Camila used our Paradise Makeup AQ™ in White as a base and on her eyebrows and lashes for this winter wonderland makeup.

“The Monster”

Elizabeth is a master illusionist from Texas that can transform herself into any character.  Her makeup can range from hyper realistic cosplays to artistic and painterly recreations. This look is a recreation of artist Basil Gogos portrait of actor Boris Karloff as Frankenstein’s Monster.  Everything in this look is crafted by hand. Elizabeth hand painted the background and extended the characters neck and temples with paper. She then went in and painted the look using our Paradise Makeup AQ™ to resemble Gogos iconic style.
