Mehron at the Big Game
8th Feb 2018
In case you didn't know, there was a BIG football game this past Sunday that was telecast for the world to watch on live television. But it wasn't just the game viewers saw on their screens. They also saw the commentators the week before, during and after the game. And word has it from makeup artist PatiKArt's Instagram page @patikartmakeup, that Mehron's TouchUp Anti-Shine just may have made some of the males on screen shine - without really shining.
"Guys have to look great on camera and they cannot have any shine or skin discoloration," says Pati. "I used Celebré Pro HD Cream Foundation on them, plus other products and TouchUp Anti-Shine Gel in between filming.
As Pati noted, when it comes to guest athletes who are being interviewed for the program, looking great on camera is always challenging. So Pati eased them into the idea of using a product that would tone down the shine.
"While they were already sitting ready for being interviewed, I tapped them on the shoulder while holding the TouchUp Anti-Shine in one hand and sponge in the other hand and asked, 'Is it OK if I put this invisible product on you to get rid of shine - you won't see anything,' then one of the commentators would help out sometimes and say, 'Yeah, it's invisible.'
Pati advised that basically everyone was agreeable, with one athlete asking more about the product, even coming back the next day wanting it on his face to look good.
"The product is invisible and that's all I needed instead of powders that leave the certain look of makeup on the face," says Pati. "Mehron is a brand favorite, I love how the makeup performs and how versatile it is. For example, I can use the Metallic Powders dry or wet, I can control application of Paradise Makeup AQ, and I love the variety of the Celebré Pro HD palette."
Pati, who resides in Phoenix, Arizona, works all over the country. A makeup artist for 20 years, Pati has recently been busy working on beauty videos and photography. See more of her work at www.patrycjakorzeniak.com, www.patikart.com, and her Instagram page.
